feel whole again.

About MigrantsInMind (MIM)

On Labour Day 2024, Aleyda Mobile Spa launched its latest post-COVID CSR initiative, MigrantsInMind (MIM), to support migrant workers in Singapore. With over 727,400 migrant workers in labour-intensive jobs, many suffer from work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs). MIM aims to help these workers manage and prevent aches and pains through self-massage workshops.

In 2023, 727,400 migrant workers were employed in labour-intensive work in Singapore.

(WRMSDs) accounted for 60% of occupational diseases among migrant workers from 2019 to 2021.

Our pain consultants provide training to aid workers in pain management and recovery.

Migrant workers wellbeing

Empowering Health & Wellbeing

From 2019 to 2021, 60% of all occupational disease cases in Singapore were WRMSDs, with back injuries being the most common. Many migrant workers lack access to proper therapeutic care.

MIM addresses this by offering training in ergonomics, self-massage, and functional exercise, providing workers with practical skills to manage their pain. Participants also receive a free massage tool for ongoing self-care.

Expertise & Collaboration

Aleyda Mobile Spa has over a decade of experience in workplace wellness. MIM leverages this expertise to offer effective training in ergonomics and massage therapy. Partnering with NGOs like ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR) and the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME), Aleyda ensures the workshops reach those most in need.

Impact & Benefits

MIM benefits both Aleyda and the wider community. For Aleyda, it offers professional growth and reinforces the company’s commitment to social responsibility. For migrant workers, it leads to better health, increased productivity, and a greater sense of well-being.
